LØJT LAND
Løjt Land peninsula is located north of Aabenraa Fjord. An area of steep and fruitful moraine hills, it stands in sharp contrast to its flat surroundings.

The charming landscape has a network of idyllic sunken roads leading to beautiful old thatched houses, many of which are typical Southern Jutland double dwellings placed closely together like beads on a string.

The beautiful terrain with its excellent beaches makes LØJT LAND an extremely popular family holiday area and the well-situated summercottages, excellent camping grounds and Løjt Holiday Center, located on the northern tip of the peninsula, provide a wide choice of accommodation.

From a tiny harbour close to the Holiday Center, a small ferry sails to BARSØ, the most beautiful island in the Little Belt and a magnet for visitors seeking unusual and unspoiled nature.

More information about Løjt Land and Barsø, as well as suggestions for excursions in the area, can be obtained from Aabenraa Tourist Office.
